Positive Early Dental Experiences

At Cranbrook Family Dental, we understand that going to the dentist can be a daunting experience for kids, so we do our best to keep the environment calm, friendly, and inviting.

We will work at your child's pace, take breaks if they get overwhelmed, and explain each step of the process to them so they know what's going on.

By prioritizing their comfort at the dentist when they are young, we hope to inspire them to visit the dentist often and take care of their oral health throughout their life.

Our range of preventive and restorative dental services can be tailored to kids and their developing smile's needs.

Your Child's First Visit

A child should see the dentist after they turn six months old, or at least before their first birthday. At this point, their baby teeth should be starting to come in, and it is critical to give your dentist the chance to spot any dental issues before they become big problems.

Dental Services for Kids

At Cranbrook Family Dental, our regular services can be adjusted to meet your child's oral health needs, and keep their smile healthy.

Preventive Dental Hygiene

Visiting the dentist for regular exams and cleanings when your child is young will help preserve their baby teeth until they are ready to fall out and be replaced by the permanent teeth. During each appointment, we will review proper oral hygiene techniques to ensure your child's smile is getting the proper care at home.

Restorative Dental Services

If your child is at risk of tooth decay, develops a cavity, or is experiencing misalignment issues, your dentist may also recommend restorative treatments such as dental fillings and crowns.
