Born in Venezuela, I grew up in Texas, where I attended Baylor University and Baylor College of dentistry. In 1987, after completing a Bachelor of Science Degree in dental hygiene, I spent six years working for a periodontist in Dallas. In the summer of 1992, a vacation in B.C. convinced me to make beautiful British Columbia my new forever home.
Luckily, the following summer, I was able to join the Cranbrook Family Dental practice (formerly Dr. Rokus), where I continue to practice today, with a deep commitment to my work and to the clientele I have served for the past 27 years.
Living in Cranbrook with my husband, son, and daughter, I enjoy hiking, skiing, cycling, and exploring the awesome East Kootenay area with my family and friends.

Ronnie was born and raised in the Creston Valley. She worked as a certified dental assistant for a few years before deciding to head out east for dental hygiene school. After graduating from the Toronto College of Dental Hygiene and Auxiliaries, Ronnie could not wait to move back to the Kootenays.
She is a huge outdoor enthusiast and enjoys everything our mountains have to offer, especially hunting, hiking, paddleboarding, and camping.
